Ronnie and Barbara McNeice

Ronnie McNeice

This is our creative space where Ronnie paints and Barbara weaves her “Island Yarns”.

Ronnie has painted from his home on the west of Arran for over 40 years. Prior to this he lived, worked and painted in Greenock. Over the years his own individual style has developed reflecting the light, colours and textures of the West of Scotland.

Ronnie paints what he is inspired by. Homes, boats, people, flowers, seascapes and landscapes all feature, recording what he sees in the beauty of creation around for others to enjoy.

He works in a variety of mediums, using watercolour, acrylics or oil. The presentation of his work is complimented by his own custom built frames and he is very happy to undertake commissions of artwork and/or framing for others.

They will also both be exhibiting this year during the Open Studios Weekend with the Artists Friends of Sannox.
