Artists Friends of Sannox

Sannox Centre

We are delighted to be taking part in Arran Open Studios again this year. Sannox Christian Centre which includes Sannox Church is situated among the trees behind Sannox beach. It is accessed by a narrow lane, the entrance to which is opposite Corrie Golf Club and there are a limited number of parking spaces available. The exhibition is sited in Dundarroch Cottage beside the church. We have a variety of works on display and will also be running workshops throughout the weekend – please see contact details below. We extend a warm welcome to all who wish to visit our exhibition.

Come and help us explore the possibilities for developing and incorporating creative arts, in all its forms, into the unfolding vision for Sannox.

Barbara McNeice

Barbara lives on the island with her artist husband Ronnie.  In Island Yarns she is offering to share creative journeys with words and wool – poetry and weaving!  Barbara is happy to demonstrate her skills on the loom and let those who are interested have a go too!

Moira Shirreff (Moir)

Landscapes in pastel and painted chairs.

I have been painting landscapes using ink and soft pastels for a good number of years. Over the past few years I have begun painting landscape scenes on wooden chairs.   I find my inspiration in the beauty of God’s creation and in the colours of the changing seasons.  I am delighted to be able to exhibit some of my works at Sannox Christian Centre during Arran Open Studios weekend.
